Maurice Mahone Appointed As New Executive Director

The Global Center For Cybersecurity Announces Maurice Mahone as New Executive Director
St. Louis, MO – October 11th, 2024 – The Global Center For Cybersecurity (GCC), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to workforce development in the cybersecurity field, is pleased to announce the appointment of Maurice Mahone as its new Executive Director. Mahone brings over three decades of experience in project management, IT, and development, with a distinguished career spanning various leadership roles in prominent organizations.
Maurice Mahone’s career began with a notable 12-year tenure at Smurfit-Stone, where he served as IT Audit Manager & Senior Business Analyst. He then spent another 12 years at Monsanto in multiple capacities, including Technical Services Lead and Director of Business Process Management. Mahone continued to build his impressive resume with a 3-year stint at Mastercard as Vice President in the Global Project Management Office, followed by 4 years as Assistant Vice President of Treasury Technology Services and Software Engineering at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Most recently, Mahone has been a Director with Daugherty Business Solutions in St. Louis, Missouri for the past 4 years.
In his new role at the GCC, Mahone will oversee day-to-day operations and play a crucial part in the long-term strategy development and execution for the organization. His extensive background in IT and project management is expected to significantly contribute to the GCC’s mission of fostering cybersecurity workforce development through various innovative programs.
