The Alliance partners with Washington University in St. Louis Missouri on an 8 month long series of roundtable discussions with the leading information security experts from around the country.
Our audience of mid, to senior-level information security professionals gather monthly on campus at the Charles F. Knight Executive Center for a 6 hour session of intensive learning, bench marking and networking.
Each session consists of 3-4 topical discussions around a common theme.
There is really no way to anticipate all of the possible cyber threats and risks to our businesses, especially given the ever expanding nature of the attack surfaces we have to protect. But we can be better at applying effective security models that cover the “middle” and even some of the “fringes” of our assets. Building a prioritized budget that addresses core risks and mandated policies/standards/practices, in addition to building and managing executive support for our programs is critical. Join us to talk with your peers and other executives about how they accomplish this daunting task.
How do I build a security model that takes me out of reactive mode
How do I create a budget that matches that model
Policies, Standards and Practices, how do they help us be less reactive
How do I gain and keep executive support for it.
